Parts of Scotland suffer from heavy flooding

Heavy floods engulf north-eastern Scotland as many residents are forced to leave their homes to escape rising water levels. Torrential rains and strong winds caused chaos in north-eastern parts of Scotland as flooding engulfed coastal towns late on Sunday. The small seaside town of Stonehaven, just south of Aberdeen, was one of the worst affected areas when rivers burst their banks and water streamed into many residential homes, forcing rescue services to evacuate locals.
