Businessman turned politician Mitt Romney moves forwards towards the republican presidential nomination after wining three primaries including Wisconsin.Romney defeated his rival Rick Santorum after making a clean sweep in Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington DC.According to the media reports, Romney is likely to win over Santorum after gaining popularity in one of the toughest Republican primaries-Wisconsin.Romney would then be facing Barack Obama in the general elections to be held in November.Romney ran for the Republican nomination in the 2008 U.S. presidential election, winning several primaries and caucuses, but eventually losing the nomination to John McCain.
