Bristol musician decides to play piano until his lover comes back
He was eventually punched in the head after 48 hours of playing piano
(Web Desk) – A musician in Bristol was devastated with his breakup to the extent that he decided to play piano till his lover comes back and they bury the hatchet.
Luke Howard set his piano in College Green and played it from September 9 when his girlfriend broke up with him after their relationship lasted for four months. He went on playing it without taking a respite, according to Bristol Post.
The 34-year-old wanted the girl to know how much he loves her. He didn’t think of any other way to make things up for her than to keep playing his musical instrument. “I know people in my situation will send flowers or text or write letters but that only ever seems to make things worse. I wanted to do something that she might see, to let her know how much I love her, that she can see it and then take it or leave it," he said.
His act went viral throughout social media as many people around him pledged support for his cause. He also received criticism for either being a stalker or emotionally unstable man who wants to apply cheap tactics to earn back respect. Everything was going smoothly until someone punched and stopped him from pursuing the unusual apology.
Even then, he successfully played for 48 hours. He started from September 9 and was stopped on September 11. Talking to media, Howard apologised to everyone who might have been offended by his act. He admitted that the girl he loved didn t come back, but it taught him a valuable lesson.
