Morocco's blue city - central attraction for tourists

Chefchaouen is located in Morocco's Rif Mountains.

(Web Desk) – Chefchaouen, city of Morocco is mostly famous with the name of “blue city" because all buildings in this city have been painted with blue color.

This city was settled by Jewish community those were ousted from Spain in 1471.



There was a special fort built to protect Moroccan Northern from Portuguese and Spanish invaders.

Chefchaouen is located in Morocco’s Rif Mountains. The city has beautifully preserved a unique heritage from the Jewish, Arabic and Moorish communities who were living there through the centuries.

The blue city of Morocco is far behind the developed world, but it is the central attraction for tourists.
