TPL Maps unveils Urdu digital mapping in Pakistan

KARACHI (Dunya News)- Pakistan’s first digital mapping solution TPL Maps continues to surprise IT sector with user-driven applications as company has unveiled ‘TPL Maps Urdu’, a detailed mapping service in national language Urdu, reported Roznama Dunya on Saturday.

Large part of Pakistan’s population prefer Urdu over any other foreign languages including English. Users, after installing the app, would be able to search the name of city, localities, roads, as well as popular points of interest such as public parks, hospitals, and schools in the Urdu language.



These new Urdu Maps can be customized and integrated into Banks, FMCGs, cab-hailing services, handset manufacturers and other service-oriented sectors.

The feature is available without any cost on android and iOS platforms.
