Thar villages get free Wifi

KARACHI (Daily Dunya) - Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC) while collaborating with Wateen Telecom has inaugurated the first free WiFi villages in Tharparkar.
SECMC’s Chief Executive Shamsuddin Shaikh and journalist Reham Khan inaugurated the facility in a ceremony was held in Senhri Dars village of Taluka Islam Kot area of Thar.
In the first phase, two villages Tharyo Halepoto and Senhri Dars will be provided with 3 MB free Wifi.
The second phase will include all the schools in the block II.
Moreover; in the next phases the entire block II will be made free Wifi block.
