In the third round match of the tournament at the Queens Club, London, Nadal defeated Radek Stepanek of Czech Republic 6-3, 5-7, 6-1 after a gruelling contest.Britain’s Andy Murray beat Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia 6-4, 7-6 in a rain-interrupted match. In another match of the tournament, US tennis star Andy Roddick outplayed Kevin Anderson of South Africa Kevin Anderson with a score of 6-4, 6-4.
