Li Na beat former world number one, Maria Sharapova to reach the final of the French Open.

Chinas Li Na overcame Maria Sharapova 6-4, 7-5 to reach the French Open final. She will now be up against the defending champion, Francesca Schiavone of Italy in the final of the second grand slam tournament of the tennis season. Li Na is aiming to become the first Asian to win a grand slam singles title
