Shane Watson ranked best all-rounder

Australian all rounder Shane Watson climbed to the top in the ranking of the best all-rounder.

After scoring 294 runs and taking three wickets in the series against Bangladesh, Shane Watson went to the top in the all-rounders’ ranking issued by the International Cricket Council (ICC).Watson pipped Bangladeshi Shakib Al Hasan, who is now ranked at number two while Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi is at number three in the all-rounders’ rankings by the ICC. Watson also improved his batting performance, as he jumped nine steps to a career best fourth place in the batsmen rankings. Whereas in the ranking for bowlers, Australian Mitchell Johnsons seven wickets haul in the series lifted him seven places and he is now at sixth position.
