Zulqarnain appears for interview to get political asylum
Wicketkeeper Batsman Zulqarnain Haider appeared in an interview before British Home Ministry to convince them for political asylum. The Ministry officials asked 80 questions from the wicketkeeper. Zulqarnain argued that Pakistan was not a safe place for him. He said that because former PM Benazir and Governor Punjab Salman Taseer were killed in day light so how can he be saved in Pakistan. He also informed British officials about his withdrawal of Dubai match. He said mafia which wanted to kill his family was very strong. He was not satisfied with the security provide to his family in these circumstances.
