Asian Games: Pakistan victorious in Baseball, Snooker

Pakistan has started its journey of the Asian Games 2010 by remaining victorious in the events of Baseball and Snooker whereas the national volleyball team and judo team had to face defeat, Dunya News reported on Saturday. Pakistans baseball team defeated the team of Hong Kong in the mega event being held in Guangzhou, China. National baseball team would play its next match against the Chinese Taipei on Sunday. The national team defeated Kuwait by 3-0 and Hong Kong by 3-1 and made its place in the quarter finals of the event. On the first day of the event national judo players could not succeed whereas national weightlifter Abdul Ghafoor made his place in the next round in the 56-kg category. On the other hand national volleyball team was defeated by the Chinese team by 3-1.
