Top seed Novak Djokovic advanced to quarter-finals of the tournament
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Top seed Novak Djokovic advanced to quarter-finals of the tournament while Williams’ sisters are to go head-to-head against each other in the semi-finals of U.S. open.
Top seed Djokovic was given tough time after Roberto of France in 4th round of U.S. open as both players fought to the end to reach quarter finals. Djokovic defeated Roberto 3-6, 6-4, 4-6 and 3-6 in the 5 set match.
On the other hand, women top seed Serena Williams is also making progress in the tournament as she defeated her fellow American player Madison Carr. She will face her sister Venus Williams in the quarter finals.
