Pakistan to face Chinese Taipei today
Pakistan will take on Chinese Taipei in the Asia Cup Hockey 2013 tournament today.
IPOH (Agencies) - Pakistan will take on Chinese Taipei in the third and final match of pool A, in the Asia Cup Hockey 2013 tournament in Ipoh, Malaysia today (Tuesday).
This match will inconsequential for Pakistan as the they have already qualified for the semis as table toppers from the group and will meet South Korea in the semis.
Pakistan need to win this tournament at all cost to get a place in the FIH Hockey World Cup. In their earlier encounters, Pakistan defeated Japan 7-0 and Malaysia 4-1.
