Saifur Rehman elected Model Town Society's president

Model Town Group has beaten Unity Group in Model Town Societys elections.

Sahibzada Saif-ur-Rehman of Model Town Group has been elected president with 1160 votes.The polling started at 10am and continued till 6pm. Former District Nazim Mian Amir Mehmood and other dignitaries also cast their votes.Model Town Group’s Sahibzada Saif-ur-Rehman got elected president and Daud Bari Vice-President, while a total of 15 candidates from the group won the election.Unity Group’s Rana Mateen got 1070 votes to be runner-up for the presidential slot.There was a tough competition between Daud Bari and Unity Group’s Mushtaq Ahmed Dilhoon. A tough contest was also seen between 20 members of both groups from different blocks. Out of total 4000 votes, 2810 votes were cast. Separate polling stations were made for men and women voters.
