Mansoors statement only in parliament: Raza Rabbani

Raza Rabbani said that Mansoor Ijazs statement would be recorded only in the parliament.

He said while chairing a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee for National Security in Islamabad. The Foreign and Interior Secretaries were also called to express their stances over the issue of NATO supply.This action has been taken after the statement of the US diplomat Munter regarding supply of NATO in Afghanistan, he said.While talking to the media, Raza Rabbani said the committee has decided that Mansoor Ijaz’s statement would not be recorded without parliament.He said that the committee has directed them to keep an eye on the proceedings of Memo Commission and call a special meeting after solid evidence.He said that he has received the resignation of Professor Khurshid Ahmad from Parliamentary Committee for National Security. The main reason of resignation is the policy of the party rather than memo issue.
