No convict of PIC scam to be spared: DIG

Police investigation committee head said that the men involved in PIC drug case would not be spared.

While talking to the Dunya News, DIG Zulfiqar Cheema said that he has started investigation from the beginning and recorded the statements of the CIO Punjab Institute of Cardiology, MS PIC and others from the very first day. If anybody is found to be involved in the scam, he would be arrested and put on trial.He said that investigation has been started on priority basis with the hope that the nation would be informed about facts very soon.Criticising the Health Department, he said that Pakistani labs lack latest facilities; therefore they would have to send samples of medicines abroad for better result.
