Accountability Court has sentenced Double Shah to 14 years imprisonment.

Sibt-e-Hassan alias Double Shah has also been fined Rs 3 billion under charges of extorting Rs 5 billion from people through fraud and deceit.The court also ordered for confiscation of all moveable and immovable property of the culprit and in the event of non-payment of fine money by him he would have to undergo further 6 months jail.Police arrested Double Shah in 2007 under the charges of commission of fraud and embezzlement.NAB said during the investigation of case that Double Shah obtains money from the people under the deceit of doubling it, embezzles it and out of the embezzled money he pays some amount to next victims.The case was heard in AC No 1 Lahore and the accused pleaded guilty Saturday. --Online
