Chaudhry Ghafoor suspended from PA for 8 days over scuffle incident
Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Mohammed Iqbal has suspended the membership of Punjab Prisons Minister Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor for eight days and opposition member Bushra Gardezi for one day. After the Speakers ruling on the incident, the opposition members have ended the boycott and returned to the house. The Speaker has also constituted a code of conduct committee with Deputy Speaker as head of the body to avoid such incidents in future. Bushra Nawaz Gerdazi, member of the opposition displayed a placard showing a slogan against Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
