Karachi: Operation against target killers, miscreants launched

Police launched targeted operation against target killers, miscreants in different parts of Karachi.

The Karachi police have been given additional mobile vans and armoured vehicles to arrest target killers and miscreants.In the first phase, police raids are being carried out in Landhi, Korangi, Malir and Shah Faisal Colony against the miscreants. Police have cordoned off many parts of Shah Faisal Colony and have started house to house search. Police have also cordoned off different parts of Kallary locality of Lyari.After the remarks of Supreme Court about poor performance of police in Karachi, Inspector General (IG) Sindh has ordered all the three DIGs, SSPs and SPs to launch operations in their areas against arms, gambling dens and miscreants involved in other criminal activities.
