Militants hold 30 Pakistani children hostage in Afghanistan

Militants abducted 30 young men from Bajaur Agency and took them to Afghanistan.

The young men hail from Bajaur Agency’s Mamond tehsil and were gathered at a place outside their village when they were abducted by the cross border militants.Grand jirga of Mamond tribe has been called and elders are trying for the safe recovery of the abducted young men.No group has claimed the responsibility of the abduction and nor a demand has been made for the release of abductees.Interior Minister Rehman Malik sent a message to his afghan counterpart, urging him to play a role for the recovery of the young men.He instructed the Frontier Constabulary inspector general to speed up efforts for the recovery of the abductees.
