SC seeks explanation from CDA over Gun and Country Club

The Supreme Court sought explanation from CDA Chairman over current status of Gun and Country Club.

The Secretary Sports Board and the Attorney General also have been issued notices.Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took suo moto notice of the issue on a media report.According to reports, expensive land measuring 72 kanal was sold to the said club at the cost of Rs 10 million per acre. The case would be heard on August 16.
