UK riots: FO commiserates deaths of three Pakistanis

The Foreign Office says that protecting Pakistani Britons is British governments responsibility.

Foreign Office spokesperson has Tehmina Janjua said that Pakistani high commission in the UK is in constant contact with the UK government and monitoring the situation in the UK.She extended her commiserations for the deaths of Pakistani citizens in the UK riots.During a press briefing, the Foreign Office spokesperson said that Pakistan wanted peace and stability in Syria, however the country opposes any intervention in the internal affairs of any country.She said that there were difficulties at operational level in Pak-US relations. Pakistan condemned the shooting of the US helicopter and killing of US troops in Afghanistan, she added.The Foreign Office spokesperson said that military operations in the tribal areas were launched in national interest.
