NEPRA upheld the verdict on Wapdas petition to increase hydel power tariff by Rs 1.43 per unit.

A two-member bench of the NEPRA heard the petition filed by Wapda seeking hike in hydel power tariff. The Wapda stated that Rs 80.89 billion required for meatiness.GM Finance informed that Re 0.9 per unit has been increased from 2010 to till update.Central power purchasing did not pay Rs 58 billion to Wapda, therefore, traffic should be increased.
