The government has started pressurizing the Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan to review his resignation.

According to sources, if Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan does not take back his resignation, the Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Farooq Hamid Naek, would most likely become the next Governor Sindh.Sources also claim that Babur Awan is likely to replace Farooq H. Naek as the Chairman of Senate. However, Babur Awan would not be taking over the new responsibilities until he sees through the reopening of the ZA Bhutto case. During this time, Deputy Chairman Senate Jan Muhammad Jamali would undertake the responsibilities of the Chairman of Senate.
