According to bomb disposal squad, 40 to 45 kg explosive material was used in the incident.

Three people were killed and five other injured in a remote-controlled explosion near the Hujra of a member of the local peace committee in Mathani.According to official sources, the explosive material was planted in a vehicle that was blown up through a remote-control. The injured and dead bodies were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital.
