Coronavirus is a message and test from Allah: Maulana Tariq Jameel
He pleaded to the nation to return to the Islamic way of life for the sake of Allah
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Renowned Islamic preacher Maulana Tariq Jameel has declared the coronavirus outbreak a message and test for humanity sent by Allah.
Speaking with Dunya News program "Nuqta e Nazar”, Maulana Tariq Jameel said that when Man loses his morality, Allah jolts him with reality. He said that Muslims are moving away from their culture because indecency and profanity are not part of their civilization. Allah sends such epidemics when immorality becomes the norm. He pleaded to the nation to return to the Islamic way of life for the sake of Allah.
Maulana Tariq Jameel broke into tears while addressing the viewers during the program and said that seeking repentance from Allah is the easiest thing in the world, and that is the only way to rid the world of this pandemic.
He said that the coronavirus is a life threatening virus, and so it was essential that people act upon the government’s orders to avoid gatherings and pray in their homes. The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)’s proclamation, in this regard, is clear that even during heavy rain, Muslims were ordered to pray in their houses. Therefore, the orders should be strictly followed.
Maulana Tariq Jameel also urged political leaders to rise above petty politics and unite for the sake of the nation. He said that it would be a grave failure of our political leadership if they cannot come together to work for this noble cause.
