Body of Punjab Rangers DG found

The rescue team has found the body of Rangers director general from Indus River.

The helicopter of Punjab Rangers director general Major General Muhammad Nawaz crashed into Indus River near Layyah when he was on his way to Peshawar from DI Khan on June 1.The Punjab Rangers director general, his ADC Captain Asif, pilot lieutenant Colonel Amir Abbas and Subedar Obaidullah were in the copter when it crashed.None of the occupants of the aircraft had survived and a search operation from Taunsa Barrage to Guddu Barrage was conducted to find out the bodies.Three bodies have already been found and two of them were identified as Captain Asif and Lieutenant Colonel Amir Abbas.
