IG Police Sindh said that terrorists want to destroy the economy and the law and order situation.

IG Police Sindh Fiaz Ahmed Leghar put the security in Karachi and Sindh on high alert, after receiving a tip from a trust worthy source of a terrorist threat.IG police Sindh said that the terrorist wanted to disrupt and destroy the law and order as well as the economy in Karachi. He directed the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Hyderabad and Capital City Police Office (CCPO) Karachi to tighten the security at important facilities and government buildings along with security for VVIPs and foreign nationals.IG Police Sindh ordered the security to be beefed up on the inward and outward bound routes of the city. He directed a high security at shopping malls, mosques, shrines and recreation places. He also advised the all the police departments to be more active in their intelligence networks.
