PMs plane makes emergency landing in Paris

The technical error occurred 20 minutes after the plane took off from the Paris Airport.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s official plane had to make an emergency landing at the Paris Airport due to a technical failure. The failure was due a malfunction in the auto-pilot system. The Prime Minister would now return to Pakistan on another official plane.Before returning to Pakistan, Premiers of both the countries met in Paris. Bilateral relations, regional and international issues were discussed in the meeting and agreed on the joint efforts by both the countries.During the meeting, further expansion of mutual cooperation in defense training, culture, technology, was emphasized. Views were exchanged on promoting economic and trade relations. Earlier the Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani met with his French counterpart and descried the ongoing defense and security cooperation between the two countries as satisfactory.The French Prime Minister had hosted a dinner in honor of the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation.
