The United States media has claimed that Shamsi airbase used for drone attacks has been closed down.

The media claimed that the airbase had been closed down after popular resentment in Pakistan against drone attacks.According to a senior Pakistani official, the American staff has left the airbase, but he did not reveal that the American staff left the airbase voluntarily or on Pakistan’s request.Previous day, 25 people were killed in a drone strike in the tribal areas. It is assumed that most of the victims were civilians, including women and children.
