PML-N rejects PTI's Punjab budget

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Malik Ahmed Khan Thursday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was not able to control inflation and dollar surge.

Talking to reporters in Lahore, the former Punjab government spokesperson said PTI abolished welfare projects in its recently announced provincial budget.

“Health and education budget was reduced by 50 per cent. Their post-budget conference was disappointing. No new schemes were introduced,” Khan said.

Khan decried the arrest of Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, saying the PML-N president was innocent and carried out large-scale development projects Punjab.
