Lahore: Roof collapse kills father, son
Two people were killed when roof of a house collapsed in Johar Town area of Lahore on Tuesday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least two members of the same family were killed and one was wounded when roof on a house situated in Johar Town area of Lahore collapsed on late Tuesday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, roof of a house in PIA Society in Johar Town area collapsed, burying 50-year-old Abdullah, 17-year-old Faisal and 3-year-old Fatima under the debris.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved the trapped persons from the rubble and shifted then to Jinnah Hospital where Abdullah and his son succumbed to their wounds.
Police have handed over the dead bodies to their heirs after legal process.
