Zainab murder: JIT head to submit report in SC Lahore Registry today

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Joint Investigation Team (JIT) head Muhammad Idrees will submit report in suo moto case pertaining to Zainab’s rape and murder in the Supreme Court (SC) Lahore Registry on Sunday (today).
The hearing will be conducted by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar. Muhammad Idrees and Punjab Police Inspector General Captain (Retired) Arif Nawaz Khan have reached the Lahore Registry, and the proceedings will commence soon.
The suo moto notice was taken by the CJP himself. The hearing was to be conducted on Monday, but was rescheduled later. The court had summoned Punjab IG, Dr. Shahid Masood, Punajb Additional IG Police Abu Bakr Khuda Bakhsh, DG forensic lab and other related persons to appear today.
