SC dissolves Pakistan Medical and Dental Council
Chief Justice Saqib Nisar formed an interim committee that will run the affairs of PMDC.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Friday dissolved the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
During the hearing of the case pertaining to the legal status of PMDC, Chief Justice Saqib Nisar formed an interim committee that will run the affairs of PMDC.
He remarked that the interim committee will continue its work while the same setup will conduct inspection of medical colleges after forming a separate committee.
The interim committee will work under the leadership of Justice Shakir Ullah Jan.
Attorney General will also be a part of setup and will form the structure of PMDC. Chief Justice maintained that he will personally monitor the entire process.
However; the secretary will uphold its position in PMDC.
