PTI core committee decides to stage protest over FATA-KP merger delay

PTI Chairman Imran Khan chaired the party's core committee meeting with other leaders in the capital

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Imran Khan on Saturday chaired an important core committee meeting of the Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to discuss the ongoing political conditions and matters regarding the future strategy.

The opposition party has decided to stage protest against the delay in merger of FATA in KP. The PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi will represent the party in the All Parties Conference (APC).

The senior PTI leaders including Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Shafqat Mehmood and others attended the meeting at their chairmans Bani Gala residence.

Naeemul Haq and Imran Ismail were also present in the core committee meeting under the PTI chief.

The PTI leaders discussed their strategy to participate in the APC organised by the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).

Imran Khan and other members exchanged views on the FATA reforms and its merger in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

They discussed the PTI strategy to counter the future movement of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif for justice. Imran Khan himself had summoned the meeting to discuss matters of significance.
