Met office predicts rain in Islamabad, cities of south Punjab

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain for Islamabad, Gujranwala and some cities of South Punjab during the next 24 hours.

According to Met Office, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while isolated rain is likely in Gujranwala, D.G.Khan, Multan and Bahawalpur divisions.

Meanwhile, weather in most parts of the country remained cold and dry during the past 24 hours. Malamjabba remained the coldest city in the country with -06°C temperature.
