CPEC needs seriousness at national level, says JUI-F chief.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Fazlur Rehman has denied any possibility of organising a sit-in protest condemning Donald Trump’s announcement concerning Jerusalem and Israel and said that no country in the world has appreciated the move.

While talking to the media in Lahore, JUI-F chief vowed that the political party would continue to record peaceful protest against the decision.

He said that no country around the world has appreciated Trump’s move except for Israel and that Pakistan would continue support of Palestinians.

JUIF-F chief further said that the current political situation of Pakistan could affect China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He claimed that not one but all the political parties would bear adverse effects of whatever crisis Pakistan enters.

He warned over CPEC that the project could be harmed if seriousness in the matter is not maintained at the national level.

He dwelled again on Khatm-e-Nabuwwat controversy during the media interaction today and said that the issue began in the parliament premises and ended there however, the issue was quite sensitive.

JUI-F chief further hailed permitting wife and mother of convicted Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav to meet him in Pakistan on December 25, a humanitarian act.
