D.I. Khan: Major Ishaq embraces martyrdom in operation against terrorists

DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Pakistan Army officer Major Ishaq embraced martyrdom during intelligence based operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan today (Wednesday).

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted raid after which the terrorists opened firing at them that martyred 28-year-old officer Ishaq.



DG ISPR said that Major Ishaq bravely fought against the militants and defeated them. He further said that the funeral prayer of the officer was offered in D.I Khan which was attended by higher officials including Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa.

"We have a sacred duty at hand of cleansing & defending our motherland; WE SHALL DO IT," he tweeted.
