Karachi: Protest of education lower staff, dozens including Marvi held

An attempt of a protest march of Sindh Lower Educations staff toward the CM House was stopped and baton-charged by the Karachi Police.Several injured in Police shelling. Dozens including MNA Marvi Memon, Dunya News reported.

The lower staff workers of the education department carried out protest demonstration in front of Karachi Press Club.The protesters tried to march towards the Chief Minister’s house but the police started baton charge and fired tear gas shells on the demonstrators.One demonstrator injured in police shelling who was immediately shifted to hospital.MNA Marvi Memon visited the protesters near CM House to express solidarity with them who was taken in the police custody including dozens of protesters. Marvi also clashed with the police officials.
