PTI, JUI-S agreed to formulate joint strategy for elections
Shah Farman, Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq and Maulana Syed Muhammad Yousuf Shah also attended the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Samiul Haq (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq called on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Sunday and agreed to formulate joint strategy for the elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan said that the country cannot progress in the presence of corrupt elements. He further said that PTI and JUI-S are at the same page on a number of important issues.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtukhwa Pervaiz Khattak, information minister Shah Farman, Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq and Maulana Syed Muhammad Yousuf Shah were also present during the meeting.
