FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Shahbaz Luna has joined Pakistan People’s Party on Wednesday as he announced quitting the federally ruling party in a ceremony addressed by former president Asif Ali Zardari.

Zardari convened a meeting with people’s party s officials of Faisalabad division and addressed the participants.

Shahbaz Luna participated in the meeting pledging support to the people’s party. While addressing the participants Zardari said that those who stole people’s mandate in General Elections 2013 should stand clear this time that they would not be allowed the same.

He alleged Nawaz Sharif, the ousted premier, of having destroyed Pakistan’s economy during his time. Zardari said that the party would highlight its core charter for the people to realise that it is PPP that they need now to lead them.

The former president said that he would monitor electioneering in General Elections 2018 while Bilawal, PPP co-chairman would lead the campaign.
