Eid prayer in Hyderabad's Rani Bagh unlikely after rain floods Eidgah
Rains in Hyderabad have submerged Eidgah putting city's biggest Eid prayer gathering in jeopardy
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Hyderabad’s biggest Eid prayer gathering is feared to be put in jeopardy after torrential spells of rain have submerged parts of the city including city’s biggest eidgah, reported Dunya News.
The Eid prayer gathering usually takes place at Hyderabad’s Rani Bagh, where a great crowd gathers every Eid. However, recent spells of rain across Sindh have inundated roads and deluged playing grounds and other public places.
Absence of Hyderabad city administration during the recent spell of rains has raised concerns over their organizational competence. Hyderabad citizens have demanded that administration should immediately prepare Rani Bagh for Eid-ul-Adha prayers.
Moreover, continuous rain in Hyderabad has caused difficulties for animals present in the Hyderabad Zoo. Water flooded the cages of animals in the zoo putting their health in danger.
