Hajj scandal: FIA summons PMs son Abdul Qadir Gilani

FIA has issued summon notice to Abdul Qadir Gilani, son of Prime Minister Gilani, in Hajj corruption scandal, Dunya News reported on Monday. According to sources, FIA had summoned Abdul Qadir Gilani to Islamabad on February 14 to quiz over Hajj corruption scam but he didnt appear.

He was summoned under the light of FIA team which visisted Saudi Arabia for investigation of corruption made in Hajj affairs.It is worthy to note here that Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani had dismissed two federal ministers: Hamid Saeed Kazmi, Minister for Religious Affairs, and Azam Khan Swati, Minister for Science & Technology over Hajj corruption scandal.Moreover, the accounts of former Religious Affairs Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi, were frozen and his name was added to the Exit control list, following his dismissal from the federal cabinet. The Federal Investigation Agency also blocked the bank accounts of former Religious Affairs Secretary Agha Sarwar Raza Qazalbash. Earlier, an FIA team left for Saudi Arabia to investigate Hajj Scandal.
