Khairpur: Karachi-bound Khyber Mail engine catches fire
Rail traffic of down trains remained suspended after Khyber Mail engine caught fire near Khairpur.
KHAIRPUR (Dunya News) – The Karachi-bound Khyber Mail escaped a major disaster when its engine caught fire near Khairpur on Sunday. The train was immediately stopped and any untoward incident averted.
The traffic of down trains remained suspended for two hours due to incident. The fire was extinguished but the engine developed some technical fault.
Railway authorities arranged a replacement and an engine from Rohri was sent after which Khyber Mail left for Karachi again after a delay of two hours.
