Ex Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said he denied US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to confirm that Raymond Davis enjoyed diplomatic immunity. He said his party is down on knees asking him to rejoin federal cabinet.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi was on his farewell visit to the Foreign Ministry. Talking to the officials in the Foreign Office, Qureshi said US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton telephoned him and pressurized to confirm the diplomatic immunity of the US citizen who brutally killed two Pakistani nationals in Lahore, Raymond Davis, but he denied. Qureshi also said that later Cameron Munter telephoned him from Washington and said if Raymond’s diplomatic immunity is not confirmed then he (Qureshi) will not be going to meet Hillary in Munich.Former minister said that his party is down on knees asking him to rejoin federal cabinet.
