"Nasr Puts 'cold water' on 'cold start'!" the media cell quoted General Bajwa

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan has conducted a successful test of SSM short-range Nasr missile on Wednesday and the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa has branded scientists and engineers the ‘real heroes’.



Media cell of the army reported that the military chief reviewed the launch and congratulated the nation on the success of the test. SSM Nasr has enhanced range and manoeuvrability, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.

"Nasr Puts cold water on cold start!" the media cell quoted General Bajwa. He further said: "Our strat cap is a guarantee of peace against belligerent neighbour & only meant to ensure, no one thinks war remains an option."

SSM Nasr is a ballistic missile that is capable of targeting ground installations of the enemy in a range of 60 to 70 kilometres.
