No one is conspiring against PML-N: Fawad Chaudhry
Fawad strongly condemned the A-category security provided to Maryam Nawaz during JIT appearance.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday said that they only held Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accountable however; everyone else was involved in the case by the family itself.
During his press conference in chairman secretariat, he said that no one is conspiring against Sharif family whereas they have accepted the ownership of London apartments.
The PTI leader strongly condemned the A-category security provided to Maryam Nawaz during her appearance before Joint Investigation Team (JIT) today.
Fawad Chaudhry questioned why Maryam Nawaz was given such security when she does not hold any political status.
He lashed out at the government and asserted that Maryam’s appearance before JIT is not because of PTI but due to the statement of her brother Hussain Nawaz.
Fawad claimed that many PML-N leaders are in contact with PTI and the party will divide in various sects after the ineligibility of the prime minister.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz appeared before the JIT today and was questioned for at least two hours. She is the eighth member of the Sharif family to be summoned by the JIT.
Talking to the media outside Federal Judicial Academy Maryam Nawaz said that all the questions prepared by the team have been answered.
On April 20, SC cleared Maryam Nawaz from the allegations leveled against her regarding Panama Leaks case. Her name was appeared in the Panama Papers as the beneficial owner of the offshore companies, Neilsen Enterprises and Nescoll Ltd.
The court stated that Maryam took cash gifts from her father in large amounts on several occasions, receipt of such gifts from the father does not necessarily make her PM Nawaz’s dependent in the legal sense.
