Rehman Malik appears before Panama JIT
Rehman Malik also told that he will present the letters written to then president to the JIT.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Former interior minister and senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader Senator Rehman Malik appeared before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to investigate Panama case today (Friday).
According to the sources, the PPP senator is expected to inform the JIT about the Sharif family’s involvement in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case while he has also brought all the documents relevant to the Panamagate.
Talking to media before the hearing at Federal Judicial Academy, Rehman Malik said, “People said that I won’t return Pakistan, but I am here with all the evidence.” He revealed that as many as 10 officers participated in the investigation however, he has not conducted any probe at personal level.
Rehman Malik also told that he will present the letters written to then president to the JIT.
