As the protests continue, for the first time in history of Pakistan, not a single PIA flight was able to take off today from any of the airport due to which the national carrier has faced a loss of more than 1 billion rupees. The passengers are facing lots of problems due to the cancellation of flights. PIA’s flight PK-2 bound for Gilgit from Islamabad, PK-1 bound for Chitral from Islamabad and four flights for Karachi got cancelled. While five flights from Multan, Lahore and Karachi could not reach Islamabad. Six domestic and one international flight got cancelled at Multan airport.
