Twitterati reject survey declaring PM Nawaz most honest politician

Nawaz Sharif was previously declared the most honest politician in a Lahore-based survey

(Web Desk) – By 71% votes saying “NO”, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been let down by the Twitter users. He was earlier declared the most honest politician in a Lahore-based survey.

According to the Twitter survey conducted by Dunya News, only 29% of the people agreed with the controversial survey results. However, a majority of 71% people disagreed and expressed concerns on labeling PM Nawaz as ‘the most honest politician’. As much as 6,488 Twitter users took part in the new survey by Dunya News.

The Twitter users didn t buy the results of the previous survey and doubted its credibility. The results of Lahore-based survey had mentioned Imran Khan as second in being the most honest politician.

Anyhow, the controversial survey was conducted by the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS) and it comprised of a sample from only three constituencies of Lahore including 121, 122 and 124. The survey results declared that 42% people believe in Nawaz Sharif as the most honest politician and 60% thought that he was capable to lead the country to progress.

Other results of the survey included:

40% think PML-N performed better than the previous government

60% think PML-N is the most popular political party at moment

45% agreed to vote for PML-N in next elections

26% think Imran Khan is the most honest politician

49% think Shehbaz Sharif is the most hones politician at provincial level

56.5% think Shehbaz Sharif can develop the Punjab.
